The Story
On the streets of New York, two rival gangs battle for control of their neighbourhood.
The Jets and the Sharks come from different worlds, divided by culture, pride and long-standing rivalry.
When Tony, a former Jet, meets Maria, the sister of Sharks leader Bernardo, something extraordinary happens. Against all odds, they fall in love.
But in a world defined by loyalty and conflict, their love is dangerous.
As tensions rise and violence threatens to erupt, Tony and Maria dream of a future where hate gives way to hope. Whether that dream can survive the streets around them becomes the heart of this unforgettable story.
